Our Board of Directors

100+ Women Who Care Madison was founded by a dedicated, compassionate group of women dedicated to making an impact. That vision and passion continues with the organization’s current Board of Directors.

Our Board consists of active 100+ Madison members. Each member has committed to a minimum of two consecutive years of service. They oversee the administration, event management, accounting, communications, promotions and governance of the evolving member-based organization.

After joining the Board in June of 2015, she accepted the honor to follow founder Angela Keelan-Martinez and began serving as President in January 2017. Tess’ areas of focus for the board include filing and managing our non-profit status and leading the charity communications and vetting. Currently a Wealth Manager and Trust Officer at SVA Plumb Financial, she also contributes on the SVA Savvy Women’s Series and Impact Investing teams. Her contribution goal for 100+ Women Who Care-Madison is to help our amazing group of women grow in community impact, inclusiveness, and the wonderful sense of sisterhood we share each meeting!

Marci leads  our 100+ member meeting logistics, including venue identification and securing sponsors as well as planning all of the details that frame outstanding experiences for each member attendee. She was drawn to 100+ Women Who Care as a young professional who didn’t have a great deal of time or money, the organization enabled and empowered her to make an impact in our community.

Margaret Koblinski, Venue Planning, Management & Sponsor Recruitment

100+ Member since: 2016
Professional Snapshot: Community Advocate & Volunteer
Margaret was drawn to 100+ Women because of the impressive impact the organization makes in our community with limited time and financial commitment required from it’s members.

Kim Mahaffey, Secretary

100+ Member since: 2014
Professional Snapshot: Research and Coordination Manager, CUNA Mutual Group
Kim joined the 100+ Board in 2016 with primary responsibility for maintaining bylaws, minutes, and procedures and ensuring we all remain on task, on time and focused on our mission. Kim was looking for an opportunity to get more involved and to give back to the community and quickly found herself drawn to the 100+ simple concept: $100 x 100+ women = $10,000+ to a worthy cause. She continues to remain inspired  by our union of interesting and diverse yet “like-hearted” women.

Katy Pettersen, Communications

100+ Member since: 2014
Professional Snapshot: Director, Marketing Consortium of Wisconsin Technical Colleges
Katy leads our program’s digital and social outreach, with a focus on member awareness, understanding and engagement. Her focus is on providing education, inspiration and informative communications in an open and entertaining manner. Introduced to the 100+ mission by one of the organization’s founders, Katy was struck by the impact giving can have when scaled-up in this model. Now a single donation can have a real and lasting positive impact on important organizations and their constituents, right in our backyard.
